[ooc: Yeah, that thought struck me, too. Although I think it could work in terms of losing or leaving behind things that belonged to alternate identities. Kind of pondering who is this person with each new thing that appears.
But ... it doesn't really work without the letters or little notes or whatever, because then they wouldn't really interact, and if they're not interacting somehow it becomes more a series of connected vignettes but not really a story involving both of them.
I'm not entirely sure how to navigate that. I'll have to ponder that, I guess.
Perhaps it's a bit ambitious to attempt with two characters who don't really own anything and try not to leave traces of themselves anywhere, ha.
Oh, it's a self-insert Your Name fic, which is surprisingly huge on Tumblr. I'm not a fan myself, I'd much rather just create an OC than that, but to each their own!]
[ooc: On second thought, I think he could write letters after all—some just might start as nonspecific/vaguely encoded? But he puts Jyn ahead of the mission several times in the film: I can totally imagine him making her an exception to his other rules too! …Oooh, especially if they begin as kids?
Ah, Y/N = Your Name! I thought it was "Yes/No" and couldn't make sense of it. ;-) Danke!]
[ooc: I'm heading to bed, but I'll most likely think about it during work and most likely come up with something. I'm sure I can swing it so that the first thing she loses is as a child.
I mean, good on these writers to write, but the whole Y/N thing really takes me out of the story. Pity, because some of the plots are super interesting and some of the writers are really good.]
But hey, I started out writing 'plays' when I was like 11, so who am I to judge?]
